Heading east from Positano, some of the most dramatic scenery on the Amalfi Coast is within easy reach by boat. Praiano, the tiny cove of Marina di Praia and the celebrated Fjord of Furore all lie along this stretch, and they are far more rewarding seen from the water than from the road.

The Fjord of Furore, where a slender bridge spans a narrow cleft in the cliffs, is one of the most photographed natural features of the coast and is best appreciated from directly below. Along the way you pass ancient watchtowers, hidden beaches and sheer rock faces that the coastal road simply cannot show you.
