See Maiori, Minori and Atrani Along the Route

One of the advantages of starting from Salerno is that you travel along the eastern Amalfi Coast, a stretch that boats leaving from the west often skip.

The eastern villages

Between Vietri and Amalfi you pass a string of characterful towns: Maiori with its long beach, the tiny neighbouring village of Minori, and, closer to Amalfi, the picturesque cluster of Atrani. Each has its own character, and seeing them unfold from the water gives cruise passengers a fuller, more complete picture of the coast than the classic Positano-focused itineraries.
