The two departure points, Marina di Praia and La Gavitella, both sit at the bottom of the cliffs. Depending on where you are staying, reaching them can involve steps, sloping lanes or a short local transfer, so comfortable shoes are a good idea before and after your tour.

Arrive a little early

Giving yourself a few extra minutes to get down to the pier takes the rush out of the morning and means you start relaxed rather than out of breath. It also leaves a buffer if you are finding the right spot for the first time.
